    • These WSCC video's from 7 plus years ago are quite good and might interest recent members who've not seen them.  I couldn't figure out how to add them to the gallery, so here is the link: https://vimeo.com/208161277 https://vimeo.com/51653013 https://vimeo.com/36112681 https://vimeo.com/36102388 https://vimeo.com/62367058 https://vimeo.com/176476555
    • Come back and help so we can be miserable together, but please don't rub it in our faces. This one hurt to see.
    • Not only for the volunteers of event days but the directors who spend countless hours holding everything together.   Our model is broken and has been for a while. Every year we try bringing benefits to volunteers and directors is seems to fall on deaf ears.   How’s that working out…
    • Not sure exactly what the joke is all about - I guess a person must have been watching some kind of a TV show to understand this... However, I do get the message and I agree with it. Changes will be forthcoming!
    • Lol. Well… said. I hear. The voice. Clearly in my head.
    • I think. In the future. This needs to be. A reimbursement. For those that can manage. To complete. A full weekend. Of volunteer work. And not leave. Organizers. Scrambling.
    • A couple of us would have been there as always, but it was a track weekend!
    • Nik, you’re not alone as I did not know about this until Sunday afternoon.  Id have taken my son to this also
    • Whoa there, Slowdriver!  Don't diss our Admins! ...Although, I suppose that is one way to get your account deleted
    • How can it be that this is the first I've heard of this?  I definitely would have been interested in taking a gander!  Next time, perhaps
    • Thanks Rob,  I was hoping @Magner would see this and jump in with his wisdom. I'll standby for a reply. Cheers
    • I believe so. We can also double check with @Magner who is always super helpful when it comes to classing details.
    • I attended for my first time this weekend.  I really liked it.  High quality cars, lots of variety, local, and relatable.  I don't really go for the glitz, glamour, and celebrity of World of Wheels.  So, this hit the right mark for me.  I suppose if you've attended a few of these, because its local, the cars may be repeats but for me it was a real pleasure. Congratulations to Manitoba Street Rod Association for putting on a good show for a good cause (Childrens Rehab).  If you've never been, I'd encourage you to attend and support a local car club.
    • Read our constitution and maybe you’ll understand.
    • I deleted the video.  If you want to brag with your immaturity, do it on Kindergarten forums, not here. If you want everybody to see this video, I will ensure that also the police will watch it. I still have it stored.   I can also delete your forum account if you need help with that.   Roland Hufgard Time Attack Director
    • How do I delete my forum account? I can't find that option.
    • I don't know but it seems the slow admin in here are insecure about my spirited driving video that he chose to delete my post without warning. You're lying if you tell me you've never driven fast in the streets before, hypocrite.
    • I dunno but years ago we had some trolls on here that loved to criticize and badger other users. This forum used to be very active
    • Hi everyone, I am just about to embark on my autocross journey and have just bought a 2000 Miata (NB) MX-5 to use. I just discovered it was brought into Canada from California sometime in it's life so it has 2 CATS, one at the header and one in the main pipe, in it's normal single CAT system location. Currently the car is bone stock and is class E as far as I can tell. Will it stay class E if I put the exhaust back to Canadian and Federal 49 state exhaust standards? i.e. plain exhaust manifold from an NB car and the original CAT in the mid pipe? Thank you PS I couldn't find anything in the 400 pages of SCCA rules that talk about changing California cars back to Federal 49. PPS Might as well ask about wheels while I'm learning...I see all Miatas from 1990-2005 are classed ES, in stock form, even though HP ranges from 110-178 and suspension and so much else changes in that 15 year spread, not sure how that works or is fair, but for me shopping for new wheels and tires I need to know what is legal to remain in stock ES? The wheel sizes in the range of dates for Miata ES is 14x5 up to 17x7.  Does this mean I can run anything in that range, plus go up/down 1" in diameter which is allowed anyway? So if I wanted to use a 15x7, it should be allowed? So much to learn. thx
    • Sims have arrived and are being assembled right now. We will start with Assetto Corsa and have already downloaded the Gimli track for those who want a little practice. I'll let you know when we have a solid start date

    • Hey All. Life's been busy, but better late than never - especially with the season that really wasn't. The shots from CPTC. My Digital Gallery to the event can be found here - Gallery Link The entire album can be downloaded in a zip format here (use a computer for best results, not a mobile device) - Download Link
    • Has the code been created for volunteers to register for Friday lapping?
    • We still have a few spots left at our Race and Licensing School, but we need to cut off registration soon! If you are still sitting on the fence, and you are not sure whether you should take the school, this one is the one to take! The weather is almost guaranteed to be great, and a somewhat smaller group will give you more time with your instructors, and even more opportunity to learns and get familiar with your car. You are pretty sure that you will never race, and therefore you won't need a license? Most of us who are regularly on track said such a statement at one time. Reality is that this school is not all about a license, but about learning how to control your car at speeds well beyond of those attainable on the street. Once you have become confident in your skills, any unforeseen emergency at road speeds is handled with aplomb; therefore, the skills obtained at the track directly transfer into your everyday driving on the road. Furthermore, taking the school allows you to decide whether or not you should be applying for a race or a Time Attack License - it keeps your options open should you decide to compete eventually. Lastly, taking the school will give you green wristband status immediately when coming for a hotlapping day. Register, show up and immediately hit the track instead of having to go through the mini-school and being restricted for a while. Click on:     2024 WSCC/SFR Competition License School (motorsportreg.com) and sign up for April 27th and 28th!
