And thank you Brian for pointing out that the date is incorrect - Race #4 was Feb 15. I'll fix it after the weekend.

On your phone, if you watch it inside of the youtube app you can move your finger on the screen to pan the image. On Android you can also hold up your phone and rotate yourself around to automatically move the view to where your phone is pointing. I tried to make the view follow the action, still getting used to the editor and settings on the camera. It is nice that I can just let it record and choose to pan the view in post. Not bad for a $250 camera. I still have 5 more races from Sunday to edit and post. I'm still trying to get all the kinks worked out before recording some exicting in-car FF action this summer.

These are great. For those watching on PC, you can move the camera around 360 degrees, and watch whichever direction you want! Really gives you a great perspective on how the entire race unfolds! I haven’t been able to figure out how to move the camera when watching on my phone.

I can't say enough good things about how you and Nicole are able to keep track of scoring and manage the championship points. It's exciting, just being a spectator, watching the fight for points this weekend. It's not just about the intense first place challenge between Damon and Tim in studded class, but also Jessica and Aaron exchanging some bumps and bruises duking it out for points. The Street Safe class is providing some exciting entertainment as well. Two points separating first and second place? That's just crazy and fun to watch. Congrats to Eric (#07) for climbing into third place. Can't wait for the next event at Lake Shirley! Hope to see you all there. Brian

wscc.speedwaiver.com this should take you to the WSCC list of events, just choose the Winnipeg Beach event from the list and read the waiver info, sign, take picture and save to phone where you’ll find it tomorrow. I say this because many a person has completed their speedwaiver and then they can’t find where it is on their phone. -
Good info, thanks. I have tried to find the speedwaiver but failed. Could you point me in the right direction? 😅

Or even better…. Get them to complete a Speedwaiver for the event ahead of time which can be shown to the appropriate person when they enter the site. -
There is no access from the street to the track. They will need to drive out onto the lake and park in the spectator area. At Winnipeg a beach and Gimli the pit area is located inside the track. If they want to join you inside the track area they will need to cross the track at the designated area in between sessions and sign the waiver.

I have a friend coming Saturday for some passenger seat lapping. Should they stay parked on the residential streets, or can they come down on the ice ?
-
Due to construction occurring within the Winnipeg Beach Marina the access to the lake and race track is off Park Ave (not the marina). See updated map in earlier post.
