Thanks Roll-end, ha-ha! Seriously, though, the changes made by Ontario Time Attack (OTA) 2026 Regulations, means we all have to submit a NEW PIP schedule (not an update of previous). Remember, the PIP schedule determines your class, so please try to be as complete and accurate as possible in your submission. Based on the extent of changes OTA made to PIP calculations, it shouldn't result in much more than a PIP or two, one way or the other. You'll notice the changes affect exhaust systems, wheel alignment, suspension, and tire section width. In all I counted 12 changes that affect PIPs. So, depending on the extent of modifications on your car, it may affect your PIP totals. There are also other changes you should be aware of, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to take a full read of the regulations. At a minimum, I would suggest going to the Revision Notes on page 2 and then go to the indicated section if you think this may affect you. I believe most of you who have submitted PIP schedules previously will find the process painless. However, for those that are submitting a PIP schedule for the first time and are struggling with the process, don't hesitate to contact Roland or myself. Also, there's a great video tutorial on the Forum that walks you through the process. Brian

So we don't need car classing or anything listed on the car along with the numbers?

Hi Nobody has number 22 in Time Attack - it is open for you to claim While we don't have strict rules regarding the number size etc., you need to use numbers that clearly stick out from your car: Different colour, or a large neutral background to make them easy to read. Furthermore, a good guideline is to look at the road racing requirements: on the sides of the car, the actual numbers should be 10" high, with a brush stroke (width of each line) of 2". -
Hi Helix, Actually, I'm thinking about getting some magnetic number plates that I can use for both Time Attack and AutoCross. What information needs to be listed on the car? Additionally could I please look to reserve number #22?
