Hi Everyone, It's our last event of the season at GMP and we're hoping to attract more volunteers. We typically need 9-10 volunteers to staff all the stations, start, grid, gate registration, etc. So far, we have only four volunteers signed up. If you are willing to volunteer, please take a moment to register on MSR so we can plan the event accordingly. It will be greatly appreciated! 

Attached are the Time Attack standings until and including event #8. Remember that the top 8 out of 10 events count to the championship, with five results being required to be eligible to compete for the championship. When you study the current standings, you will find that a lot of people can still play a major part in the Championship. Many may just need to get their fifth result in, while others still have the opportunity to knock their competitors off the top positions. Ian was my instructor when I got my race license. I remember some of his comments about that is the wrong line but it works in the mini, or oh that is the ice racing line.  bruce 

Sad for sure. I remember the sounds of the RX7 getting “tuned” by Ian and Scott in the pit stall beside me when I first got into road racing. Always jovial, carefree and inviting. 

TA Race #4...drops the mike and drives away never to be seen again (first time in first place since joining AutoX and TA several years ago...).  

Sad news at the passing of Ian Fillingham last week. Past road racer with Scott Mcdonald .Memorial service to be announced in a few weeks.

Awesome! Glad you captured that. I was on the edge on my seat and actually said out loud a couple of times “oh no!!”.
