That I want on record?I've had way too many cars... My first car, people wouldn't expect it, was an '81 Chevy Malibu with the 'Taxi Package' and a 3-Speed on the floor that I should have kept and put a Corvette motor into, but didn't. My parents' Corolla, that was the green one. Ever since that car I've had the Corolla bug in me since that's what I learned to...To view the rest of the interview...http://www.tristanshea.com/blog/2011/10/14/wscc-driver-car-spotlight-corolla-joe/

Well done. Nice to see the approach changed up. :cool:While very true, every time someone says something like this in their profile,

Two reasons that someone should come out.The people – they are awesome to be around

the thought, "I don't care how nice they are, if this was a quilting club I wouldn't join," comes to mind. :P

Thanks again Tristan. Art - If everyone disrespected you or was unfriendly, it would get tiresome eventually to deal with and discourage you from returning. I said that, as friendly people usually are willing to lend a hand and keep the system working, which is what keeps our club working as well as it has for many years.

I wasn't intending to belittle your statement. It's a great bunch of people sharing a common interest.

Ladies and gentlemen,That is one of the friendliest faces of Winnipeg Sports Car Club. Joe is always cheerful, helpful and down-to-earth. Tristan has done a good job at portraying Joe's character. I love the theme, "A day in the life of Corolla Joe".Great job Tristan. It almost makes me believe that I am reading the pages of Car and Driver, Motor Trend, Road & Track, etc.

I hear you talking' date=' but I've yet to see your better half in the driver's seat. Step it up![/quote']I asked her a few times and she said she didn't want to show up all the boys :)Actually she said the day I sing on stage, she will try auto-x. So it's not likely to happen.

Yeah.. I think we need more women in the club. The guys are getting desperate!

I brought Sammi last year and she ended up dating half the club haha. I will be bringing a few more out to some events this year but one is already taken by me and the other likes girls, but I am sure she would be flattered if you guys tried anyway :P
