Hot off the press is the 2026 Summer Edition of our Aficionado Newsletter/Magazine.
Hardcopies will be available at the next race event at GMP and/or arrangements can be made with me to pick up a copy. I will be holding some issues in reserve for the Vintage Race Weekend for any out of town racers, guests and VIPs.
Key articles in this issue:
Racing at the 24hour of Nurburgring - Damon's experience with racing the "Green Hell"
A Sunbeam Tiger Story - Dyrk's passion for reliving a driving experience
Women in Motorsports - spotlight on Dani, Mia, Nicole & Rylee
Built not Bought - Wayne Chin's wild truck fabrication project
WSCC Flashback - 1975 Players Championship Race at GMP
Plus you will find an update on how the Autocross & Road Racing season has been playing out so far.
The 2026 Fall Issue is planned for publication at the end of September (deadline for submission is Sept 15). Please let me know if you have an article or story you would like to add and/or just some pictures you would like to pass on. Hopefully I receive submissions for some of the other club disciplines.
Note: this issue is chock full of some awesome pictures so the size of the file for this month's Aficionado has gotten pretty big (74MB). Attached is also a compressed version of the issue that is only 3MB.
