I think we all are guilty of assuming that everything will be ok...after all, we only drove a few kilometers! It is too easy for us to forget how much stress we put our cars through in those few laps! Having seen your rim with my own eyes, I must agree: this would have been a catastrophic failure within minutes. Your quick thinking most definitely saved you from a major incident! This is a very real reminder to keep checking your car during the race weekends. The only thing I don't understand...turn 5 is a left-hand turn. Any NASCAR wheel should be able to do that with aplomb. That thing must have cracked in turn 4! (Sorry, I couldn't resist ) 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
