  1. You should also be able to use the words "Honda" and "torque" in the same sentence now without triggering mockery from nearby Corvette owners.
  2. white_cross, If you decide to go this route, let me know as I have a base rsx motor and 5-speed ecu you could have at a very reasonable price.
  3. Not from the factory, no. But kmiata has a bunch of parts that let you use a miata transmission with it: http://www.shop.kmiata.com/ So, realistically, if you budget ~2k for the kmiata stuff, and some additional money to get power level of the K up to the F20C, a full F20C swap starts to seem reasonably priced. I think the "Easy Button" solution for engine swaps like this (if there is such a thing) right now is the Ford/Mazda duratec motor with an NC miata or ranger transmission, or some kind of GM Ecotec setup with the solstice trans like Mark is using.
  4. There's a lot of info on the locostusa forum. There's a stickyed thread with pictures of engines hanging from scales - this ensures that if someone posts a weight, it's clear exactly what is being weighed. Things like manifolds, starter, flywheel, etc. can easily add up to 50+ lbs. S2000 F20C + transmission is shown at 408 lbs. Honda K20 + Miata transmission would probably be similar as I've weighed a K20a3 and it was ~300 lbs complete and a miata trans is I think somewhere between 75 and 100 lbs depending on year and 5-speed vs 6-speed.
