Gimli Ice Festival race weekend - book now!

Plans our now finalized for our season finale weekend as part of the Gimli Ice Festival on March 4 & 5.

This is a double header race weekend like no other. On Saturday evening we will also be hosting our WSCC Ice Race season ending banquet at the Lakeview resort. We will have our own banquet room and all volunteers/workers will receive free dinner tickets for this event. There will also be a brief awards ceremony that night to present plaques to the winners of the inaugural "Lakeview Icelandic Pursuit" feature race along with plaques for the "Best in Show" for the IceX drifters. I encourage all club members, racers, family and friends to join us that evening for fun, festivities and libations!

The Lakeview Resort is offering our club members a special discount rate of $119 per night for a standard room (typically $150 per night). Call direct anytime at 204-642-8565 and mention WSCC to receive the club discount. There are only 20 rooms blocked off at this discount so lets try and book them all and have a great Ice festival weekend.

Volunteers can register on MSR for their free banquet dinner ticket. If you can not attend the Gimli event during the day but can still attend the banquet and have volunteered at one of our events this year please let me know and we will still get you a complimentary Volunteer dinner ticket. Register soon so we can provide the hotel with a seating estimate. We have secured the banquet room for Saturday dinner/evening.
