Your tech sheet items should have been checked at least within a week prior to the event. After parking your car in a grid spot in the appropriate run group you should finish prepping your car for racing. IN YOUR CARREMOVE all loose items from inside your car including but not limited to:garage door openerscoolersjackets/clothingunsecured floor matsReady your helmetTake out all your loose CDs, etc.ANYTHING NOT BOLTED DOWN INSIDE THE CAR = OUT IN YOUR TRUNKspare tirejacktoolsANYTHING NOT BOLTED DOWN IN YOUR TRUNK = OUT OUTSIDE YOUR CAR Install your car numberInstall “Track Tape” or masking tape as neededDo an initial tire pressure settingCheck you oil level (if not already done that morning) Make sure your belongings are secured on the grass behind your grid spot. You don't want your stuff blowing away while you are out on course driving or working. Final checkover to ensure your car is ready to race.
