Alstan Penlock
Pete Loewen - DRIVER SPOTLIGHTWords and Images by Tristan PennerName & (Forum Name): Pete Loewen (PeteL)Competing In: Road RacingAny exciting car history...My first car was a 1977 Toyota Celica, it had everything I wanted. It was the fastback that had the louvers and a chin splitter… blue with a body kit, the perfect sports car.It strikes me as funny now but I drove it without paying any attention to its maintenance. One day I was driving along and I was hearing a crackling noise from up front so I slowed down because I was worried. Then something hit the ground, so I stopped and pulled over…To view the rest of the interview...http://www.tristanshea.com/blog/2012/08/02/wscc-driver-car-spotlight-pete-loewen/

chkdsk
Another great driver spotlight! Very good work Tristan plus a very worthy driver and a very likable guy. Pete L is great for our sport and admirable person. Al M does a ton of the steering wheel stuff for us boys and Pete L fills in the other gaps with the great stories and always keeping us entertained. Wonder how many demerits he has with those cars in his garage... Hmmmmm...

It's the comraderie among good friends that keeps me coming back more than the racing. Thanks Tristan for doing such a great service to the club.PS only a few demerits but a lot of trips to see my friend at Points lol.Cheers
