Make the Pilgramage

If you enjoy autocross at all, you need to make the pilgramage to the holy land of Lincoln, Nebraska at least one time. There are two big events every year, the Tour in May (called SpringNationals) and Nationals in September. SpringNats has about 350 competitors and Nationals has 1300 competitors. There is a test course set up and you can wear a set of tires out over there if you choose. The event consists of running the East Course 3 times and the West course 3 times and they take your best time on each course and combine them. The courses are massive.. They are so big that 4 or 5 cars are on each course at the same time and there is a 15 second gap between them. Nationals has all kinds of social activities like a talent show, beer exchange and block party. This years theme at Nationals is "Rock and Roll" so expect a lot of people dressed up as rock stars and cars/golf carts decorated in rock and roll themed liveries.
