I fully appreciate and respect the decision to shut me down. I did smell fuel and had been checking my car out but it was evaporating and I couldn't source the leak. I so appreciate the spotting of the leak at my parking spot. It turned out to be a frayed line at the point where it bends and runs down the firewall. I think there may have been a firewall rub that wore through. I connected with the orginal builder (Chuck Mallet) who said it had never happened before, to his knowledge. Anyways, always a first and I am sorry for the incident.The new line will include a sparkplug boot over that area of the line. Safety first!
