Mike Posted May 4, 2025 Posted May 4, 2025 Apologies for short notice on this! We are looking for any and all volunteer workers that would like to assist with putting down the white FIM track paint this Wednesday (May 7). We plan to be on site at GMP at 9:30am to start and the more volunteer workers the better as we plan on painting a 4" stripe over 3 miles long! Big thanks to Greg Eastwood for securing/ordering the special paint and to Johnny Armatas who is providing both his expertise and the necessary tools of the trade to help make this happen. Join the work party and help us make our GMP track look great again. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks! Mike
Weebly Posted May 5, 2025 Posted May 5, 2025 I'm in, but do I have to stay within the lines, like Grade 2 coloring? Never did pass that class. 1
Mike Posted May 6, 2025 Author Posted May 6, 2025 If you passed your Grade 2 paint by number course you are eligible to advance to this level of painting. You will however be closely watched until proven that your 4” wide roller doesn’t start painting 5”….😁 2
Greg Eastwood Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 Big thank you to John Armatas ( Armatas Painting and Decorating ) with his crew of 3 company staff for refreshing the paint on the clubhouse and shower buildings. Also to John plus Mike Demchenko, Steve Leiding, and Brian Wiebe for painting the track. Looking good. 3
