donrolandofurioso
Hello everybody! As a new Time Attack season is approaching, I want to give a quick update. Car classifications will not change; we will still run Rookies, T, GT, SGT, Mod and Extreme. However, OTA rules regarding the PIP of certain vehicle modifications have changed. Because of this, and because many classing schedules on file are already two or three years old, we require everybody to submit a new classing schedule as per 2024 regulations. There is a post in this very forum about how to do that, but if you need help, I can give you a hand. OTA regulations can be found at ccdb.casc.on.ca Please submit the classing schedule to secretary@wscc.mb.ca. If you don't submit a schedule, you will be classed in Extreme. There will be no retro-active downgrading into a lower class - if you have not submitted a valid classing schedule by the beginning of the race event, you are listed in Extreme and your times and points will remain attached to the Extreme class even if you produce the classing schedule later on. FFAttack
Their site seems to have an issue with Downloading the PIP schedule.

Yes, I've submitted both my vehicles, had an email response from "John" confirming they are accepted but the approval is not on the website and I can't download the certificate. donrolandofurioso
Where did you submit them to? Did you send them to the OTA? Then you won't get an answer, because they don't keep track of WSCC's vehicles. They need to be sent to secretary@wscc.mb.ca. Did you find your new Solstice in the base car list? Problem is when I went to download it after completing everything it just errors out. I have tried on two computers and my phone. last time I did this in 2022 I was able to download and print it off and e-mail it.
donrolandofurioso
I am not sure whether this is still a problem; Brian is communicating with OTA. Typically, the classing schedules can be converted into a PDF and sent to Brian. I will do mine tomorrow and I will find out. However, Ron was not referring to this type of problem; his response would indicate to me that he submitted to OTA instead of WSCC.

Ah, another rookie error (they go on and on....). In that case, I think I also have the same problem with not being able to download the schedule. It just returns a screen with html text and error messages... The Mallet is not on the classing list but the OTA guy said that the way I did it was correct (filled out the PIP with V8 conversion info...). Weebly
Although I never received a reply from OTA, the problem of downloading the PIP schedule appears to be resolved. Like me, you may get a warning that the file is insecure, but if you choose to continue, a PDF version of your schedule will be downloaded. Please submit your PDF schedule to secretary@wscc.mb.ca As Roland mentioned earlier in this post, everyone must submit a new schedule for 2024. Thanks, Brian
Mopar11
I completed and submitted mine yesterday. I had no issues with the downloading messages but I saw the same thing happen last year and it was fixed soon after it was reported.
