Sponsorship of your vehicle

Hi all,

Wondering if there are any veterans on this forum with sage advice about seeking sponsorship for one's racing/participation in club events?  I do Time Attack and Autocross and have thought about reaching out to my business network to invite sponsorship of my vehicle(s).  I have some ideas about how I would solicit this support but I would appreciate anyone's gleanings and experienced comments about this!

I worked fairly hard on this in the winter of 2019 for the 2020 season. I basically write up a proposal that went out to a few companies. I had some talks with them and were finalizing a few right when Covid hit and all communication stopped. 
 

The largest hurdle is justifying the ROI to the sponsor, in 2019/2020 it was not going to that big deal as I had 3 events planed in the US with GTA. But for local small or zero exposure events it’s very hard. 
 

I have not tried to get anymore since. In this market you’re probably best to focus on small local business. None of the larger companies will see any benefits.

I guess burning up the kids inheritance will continue to be the plan!
