JT_TT 11
I am wondering if anybody knows of a place that rebuilds struts/shocks here in Winnipeg? Specifically Koni DA ones.... I Might need a re-seal and don't really want to send them out of province if at all possible. Thanks in advance! -JT
MRS Joe 86
You went to nats and didn't get it fixed there? I have a sa with a jammed adjuster but I wasn't going to burden anyone to take it to try and have it fixed for me. Is there any charge in a Koni? Worth experimenting? Brian_Earl_Spilner 29
Koni should be lifetime warranty... Back when I ran Koni, I remember getting replacement shocks sent in the mail at least 4 times that I can remember (and you send the dead one(s) back). They were always good about it. No fuss, they always sent replacements without a fight. Not sure if Koni still does that though.
JT_TT 11
Never actually went down to nats, car was only ready the Wednesday AFTER nats. Plus i heard that the Koni shop was booked up entirely for the week. Lifetime for original owner sadly.
chkdsk 203
If you do figure out a place for Koni locally, or even Canada, can you post it here? Two years ago I did research and the repair place was in the US and by the time shipping there/back plus US$ for repair, it was cheaper to buy a new shock. Thanks
JT_TT 11
Yea with TCKline double adjustable's it's definitely not cheaper to buy new, but looking like 4-5 weeks turn around.
Corey 229
There are very few Koni service dealers. I don't think there are any in Canada.
