(no lunch break) Sunday Feb 5 - Race Day - Ice Drifting and Ice Racing (experienced IceX entries and licensed racers only) Drivers meeting at 9:45am, Ice Drifting and Practice starts at 10am and Racing begins at 12 noon following the lunch break On Saturday there is no limit to the number of entries - spread the word and bring a friend! On behalf of all the WSCC ice racers we are wishing Dylan (car #29) a speedy recovery from an unfortunate incident that occurred at the ice racing on Sunday. Dylan was experiencing shift linkage and throttle linkage issues on his car throughout the day and the troubleshooting resulted in an open hole to the cockpit, unfortunately a broken header also resulted in a fairly serious issue of exhaust fumes entering the car. The result was significant carbon monoxide poisoning that unfortunately required emergency response and medical attention. We all wish Dylan well and hopefully he will be able to return to race with us again by the next race weekend! This is also a reminder to all racers of the importance of keeping the cockpit sealed and ensuring the exhaust remains intact and exiting behind the driver.
