Great! Thanks for organizing, Phil.

The WSCC Autoslalom program will be buying a few new helmets this year through this group buy. I will personally be buying a helmet as well. Phil, I'll send you more info early next week.

I'm nervous about buying this way because of sizing. I don't know my hat size, don't know how to measure. Also, are helmet sizes like shoe and clothing sizes where they vary a great deal between manufacturers?

Grab an upholstery fabric tape measure. Get someone to measure the circumference of your melon. That what I did a few times for different people. Works out ok.

Other option is to go to a place that sells powersports products. they usually have helmets on the shelves (although usually just DOT). you can try sizes and order what you feel fits best.

They also typically come with pads that you can add for extra support.

The fabric tape or string works best. You need someone else to do it to ensure it is in the right position. We can exchange helmets that are the wrong size but you would have to pay the shipping both ways.
