Jim Eh.
Jordan reported it more or less ripped the tire up rather than making nice little squares.
AlexD
I asked the same question a couple of months ago, and found out that there is one in the province and that he was also willing to rent it out. The person who has it also informed me that the end result doesn't work very well in our climate. That opinion came from a bunch of board members as well as the guy who actually owned the thing. The overwhelming consensus was to hand sipe.
TI-GOR
TRATIONIZER was wideley used in the past, back when we were still running bias ply tires.I still have my tractionized canadian tire specials from back in the 80"s. If I can dig one out I will bring itthis weekend.
chkdsk
Yep I have one, it's sitting upstairs in my shop right now. It's built proper and very strong and will last for many years. The guys in Minden Ont use them all the time although we have not had much luck with it at all. I tried it 4 years ago in RTI and it does shred the tires up but the siped ones were faster. Brett (#6) and Andre (#95) tried it again last year even on siped tires and nothing special happened. I believe their warmer/wetter climates work better with the Sanctionizer although I could be wrong and I may not have done the tires properly. You are welcome to it although I would rather sell it than rent it out as it's taking up space.
