Fun Race - Formula Student Racecars

So this weekend's race will be a departure from our usual races. It will feature Formula Student cars which are similar to the Formula cars built by the U of M. You can read about it on the following webpage.

What a fun cart to drive. The downforce is impressive. As it's a fun race would you consider setting up 3 shorter in duration races?

Do you think there could be carnage at some point!!!  (first turn)

It's certainly is a fun little kart to drive. The only issue is that there is no reverse gear, so if you get pushed up against the wall. You will have to reset to the pits. The more powerful EVO version has reverse but I found the regular version was more fun.

I can almost guarantee carnage.. lol.

As for race length, do you mean instead of 2 x 15 mins races, we would do 3 x 10 min races?

So I've scheduled this Saturday's race a little different.

Qualifying - 20 mins
Race 1 - 10 mins
Race 2 - 10 mins (Reverse grid from race 1)
Short Break
Qualifying - 5 mins
Race 3 - 10 mins
