2016 School and Race Registration

Recommended Posts

DLB (dlbracing.com) is now open for the May Driver's School as well as for all race weekends. You need your club membership number or to buy one if you haven't got one. If you buy the membership on DLB it will let you go ahead and register. Email membership@wscc.mb.ca if you need your number. DLB accepts credit cards and Paypal.

One item that has changed for this year...

If at all possible, please have your helmet prior to the first classroom session and bring it to the class.

If you don't know what model you need or where to get one, please email hpde@wscc.mb.ca.

I have a 97 Miata with a hard-top, but no roll-over protection.

Would I be allowed to participate with my car?

Cheers

Is it possible to buy 6 spots for customers of mine without having them go through the DLB registration process individually?

Alex.  I need membership and registration forms filled out and signed plus a cheque to WSCC.  You can send it directly to me by snail mail or on foot (wheels).  Email me for address/ph #

Leif, pretty sure the car would be OK for race school. A drivers license, club membership, and an approved helmet are probably needed though.

It has to be a factory, OEM hard top, (Not aftermarket) in order to participate without additional roll protection

Just to confirm, are the in class sessions the same day as the track days?

No. The classroom sessions are the week preceding the track day.

The track days are both Saturday and Sunday.

I'll check it out. Thanks for the heads-up.

Classroom will be one evening only: May 4th from 6:00 - 9:00 in the Annex of the restaurant at the Canad Inn on the south side of Regent just west of Plessis. If you come a little early they have a reasonably priced buffet which I think features ribs that night or you can order off the menu.

How much notice do you need of a car change?

Well, the evening of the classroom session would be the absolute latest as I will have to group the cars for Saturday AM.

We can make that happen, thanks for letting me know.

The school is now full and DLB registration is closed.  Contact me at roadrace@wscc.mb.ca if you want to be placed on the waiting list.
