It's time to start the WSCC league again-who is in and what day and time do you prefer? Come check out our new track, new lighting inside and out and no more potholes in the parking lot.

Is this a go?

If so, would those that are planning on racing mind if my eldest son joined in? It would give you two slow karts (driven slow but in race karts) to pass...mine and his.

I would not want him racing with non-WSCC members, as I doubt he would get injured in a crash with WSCC members.

i would be in on a bi-weekly schedule. shabazz would be in on a monthly schedule. corey may be in occasionally. and another guy, mike, would be in occasionally as well.

we collectively would prefer 7 pm tuesdays.

Could, I gather at Speedworld? Or, some place that serves cocktails?

However, I am out for Tuesdays until about mid-December.

First Tuesday of the month is WSCC Exec Meeting.

Third Thursday of the month is WSCC General Meeting.

Those meetings will affect a significant number of regulars from last year.

Marion & I are interested whatever the schedule ... Wednesdays is our first choice ... Mondays is our second choice.

just a friendly reminder for race 1 this afternoon, 7 pm, at speedworld of course. bring your crash helmets!

it was a fun race night! but unfortunately, there were only 5 of us. i hope this was a fluke, because i know of 3 committed who had to drop out at the last minute.

anyway, we're booked for the next race monday, november 16, 7 pm. alternatively, we can go with wednesday, november 18. please let me know if monday, or wednesday, or both work, and we'll just go with the weekday with the most expected attendees.

and get the word out! this is an open fun league to keep the racing rust out. we're not tracking points or anything.

i was planning on coming...had the helmet in the car...however doubleup night at smitties had me occupied and i don't think i was legal to drive long before 7 so i opted out...will be out to other races though.

this is an open fun league to keep the racing rust out. we're not tracking points or anything.

That is a good thing...lol...as I proved last night, I am slow enough that I think even Kosta - King of Slow - could beat me in a kart. :)

Sorry guys, was supposed to be free but ended up feeling pretty crappy by the end of work. Karting just didn't seem like the smart thing to do.

sorry for the delayed response. been out of town for a few days.

it was a fun race day, but low turnout. mostly new flyer staff, with only jt getting a pay cheque from a different place. there were 5 of us.

next one is nov 30.

sorry to say, but i think i'll have to cancel tonight's race and the whole winter league. not enough interest and consistency in the attendance. i'll blame the slow economic recovery.

i will be away for all of december anyway. pre-order your copies of gran turismo 5, and i'll see you online, call sign yofa42.
