Another fun day at the races! I'm still stunned at how good the racing can be for so little money. We were three wide in the video below at one point! I don't think you could park three cars across the track there and still be able to get out. :D

I wasn't driving 100% at the start of the race and Eric was turning some great laps - a bad combination! At 4:20 in the video, I wake up after a missed shift and start driving well again to close the gap and make a pass.
Then, I make a little mistake at 8:15 and it leads to a bigger mistake in the next turn. Notice the nervous glance to the inside as I see Eric storming through the corner with an early apex. My fears were realized: Crunch!
At the exit to that corner we were three wide! Eric on my left, Al on my right. Crazy stuff... You can see the two of them side-by-side in my mirror at about 8:35.
The crazy thing is that the racing was like this all day! Lots of close racing in both studded and rubber classes.
Sadly, the video had to be cut short as YouTube only allows 10-minute videos. There was no drama in the last couple laps anyway, Al just slowly pulled away from me.
