I am still debating on whether I should get a personalized plate or not.

i just dont like it cause its too easy to remember these, and if i do something i shouldnt, last thing i want is a plate that someone can remember in an instant. Im an angel though and am too cheap to spend the $100 as id want to change it a week later :)

its a good choice though matt, that is one i would have seriously considered.

I like them, they can be a fun piece of personalization, but of course... just like driving a company truck, the name will be easily remembered and if recalling for some kind of report is necessary.... slam dunk :)

Just don't get something that's.... lame :D

Based on your own admission should you not have gotten BRAK2L8 or BRKS2L8

BTW, as proof the memory thing I was at a Xmas party with a bunch of police officers and we got talking about cars and plates. Mentioned mine, and he (and a couple others) said, "...is that you, I see that one all over the place." Guess I better not do anything too stupid. So yeah, they are easy to remember.

There are times when anonymity is good. On the other hand, if the car is memorable enough, it does not matter what the plate is. I had a Windsor foot patrol officer walk over to me (about 1969) as I sat at a red light. He said I had done something minor (engine noise? It certainly could not spin its tires) the previous week. I questioned it being me, and he said mine was the only car like that in town (a 7 year old Porsche at the time).

Most of us seek a unique car, but if it really is the only one like it in wpg, enforcement does not need to remember the 'text message' on your plate.

There was a guy with "Gun Nut" on his plate....It had been checked about 187 times.............

Exactly why my corolla blends in beautifully, until the tach passes 6500.
