yeah that too ;)
My brakes really need work though. They were PRETTY much at the floor in a couple places yesterday. I'm gonna try to bleed them REALLY thoroughly and see if that helps.
No problem... man my lens is DIRTY and needs a cleaning. Ah well, I'll have some better pics next time.

Thanks for taking the pics, Dave! They look good, and I've got me a new desktop background.
If anyone wants a full screen quality picture for a desktop, or to get printed let me know. The pictures in the media section really get dropped in quality so that they are fast etc.
Just send me a private message or email with these details:
Event date & picture you want.
Your desktop resolution or required print size (eg: 5x7 or 8x10)
Thanks,
djw
Ok, Tom requested a picture of his to be used on his 1024x768 desktop. *Just to compare, here are the two shots:
1024x768 hi-res: http://www.perldev.org/media/tom08.jpg
picture in media section: http://www.wpg-autox.org/media/photos/05022004/dsc_1895.jpg
Just shows you how much these pictures are degraded in order to make it a fast download.
Aieee, my bandwidth!! :o

Corey, that pic would go well with the video of you chowing down on that smokie...stop to chew between bites, man! ;D
Tom, I adjusted your image a bit. I found your car to be a bit too dark, what do you think of the change?

That looks great, thanks Dave! You're right, I hadn't actually noticed but the colour was definitely on the dark side.
Hey Dave, in the media section when you look at the pics from this past event it says the pics are by Dave W and Mike F. Fine by me, cause I don't mind taking credit where none is due, but I didn't take any pics.
That's another Mike F, damned privacy laws..

Sweet! :) Except there seems to be a very thin white border around the image, and I think it would look cooler if it went right to black, like a widescreen shot.

I can't quite read the sponsor's logos, could you clear that up? ;)

Funny, I kinda like the thin white border. I thought it made the pics look more professional. Like something in a magazine.

You know, it's kinda been growing on me all afternoon (it's on my desktop), so I think I've changed my mind about the border. Good call.
