Hi all:

I case some of you didn't know the TBAC will once again be hosting it's annual Invitational event the weekend of 11, 12, 13 of February 2005.

Festivities will start with a party on Friday night, followed by racing and possibly another party on Saturday then concluded with racing and a third party on the Sunday. Saturday's racing will consist of heat races and Sunday including Enduro events.

For those interested in schlepping their cars all the way up here, we will allow deviations from our car construction rules as long as the car is considered safe by our tech inspectors. As well, we can only allow the use of Menard type tires for the studded series for track conservation issues (especially after a 1 1/2 to 2 hr Enduro race). If you were to bring a car up here there is a GOOD possibility we could find some extra Menards to loan out, provided we are given enough notice.

We will also have a limited number of Bridgestone Blizzaks available for those who would like to try racing on unmodified tires. They will be limited to a first come first serve basis and are only available in 13" size.

I believe the entry fee for the weekend will be $75.00 for all classes and we can even get you a good deal on a hotel room.

Hope to see some of you there!

Good Luck with your season. I will be mentioning your invitational event at our next meeting.

It sure is nice to see a post from someone else ;)

Due to the recent warm spell the TBAC executive feels it is necessary to cancel the “Battle for the Bay” invitational race.

While we would prefer to have this annual event run again this year, it would ultimately lead to the early cancellation of our local racing series.

Racing will resume on Sunday February 20th, 2005.

Thank you for your understanding.
